In other areas of the garden, orchids bloom alongside indoor waterfalls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>January 14 &#8211; April 8<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fpconservatory.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Orchids! Vibrant Victoriana<\/a> offers a winter escape at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio. Hundreds of orchids are on display, and there are talks, tours, and classes. Don&#8217;t miss <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dispatch.com\/content\/stories\/life_and_entertainment\/2012\/01\/22\/fragile-beauties.html\" target=\"_blank\">the exhibit of dazzling glass orchids by acclaimed artist Debora Moore<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>January 23 &#8211; February 10<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/philadelphiagreen.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/13\/enchanting-orchids-a-new-phs-exhibit\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Enchanting Orchids<\/a> warms up the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society&#8217;s McLean Library in Philadelphia. Delight in free lectures, workshops, and a wide variety of orchids on exhibit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>January 28 &#8211; March 25<\/strong><br \/>\nIn St. Louis, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.missouribotanicalgarden.org\/things-to-do\/events\/signature-events\/orchid-show.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Missouri Botanical Garden&#8217;s Annual Orchid Show<\/a> provides a chance to see prize specimens from one of the country&#8217;s largest orchid collections. Enjoy fascinating orchid colors and scents in a Chinese themed garden.<\/p>\n<p><strong>February  4-April 15<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.atlantabotanicalgarden.org\/events-classes\/events\/orchid-daze\" target=\"_blank\">Orchid Daze: Hanging Gardens<\/a> at the Atlanta Botanical Garden mixes Babylon with Midtown Atlanta. Suspended displays of potted orchids appear to float in the air.
