Good presentation enhances orchid beauty. Some of the tips include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stake flower spikes upright. Add stakes to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/identify\/orchids\/phalaenopsis.html\">Phals<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/identify\/orchids\/paphiopedilum.html\">Paphs<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/identify\/orchids\/oncidium.html\">Oncidiums<\/a> while their spikes are still small. Wait to stake <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/identify\/orchids\/cattleya.html\">Cattleyas<\/a> until buds are mature. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/identify\/orchids\/dendrobium.html\">Dendrobium<\/a> spikes are strong enough that they don&#8217;t need staking.<\/li>\n<li>Flowers should all face the same direction. Do not turn plants while buds are developing, or they will reorient to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/care\/details\/light.html\">light<\/a> and be askew.
