All of them are great destinations for a cold winter day or a special valentine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>February 1 &#8211; March 9<\/strong><br \/>\nEscape from winter at <a href=\" http:\/\/www.cbgarden.org\/orchid-mania.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">the Cleveland Botanical Garden&#8217;s Orchid Mania 2014<\/a>. Along with stunning flowers, the event includes an interior design showcase, a special photography session, and an orchid doctor available for questions on Saturday afternoons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>February 1 &#8211; March 23<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.missouribotanicalgarden.org\/things-to-do\/events\/signature-events\/orchid-show.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Head to St. Louis to see remarkable orchids from a world-renowned collection.<\/a> The Missouri Botanical Garden&#8217;s orchid greenhouses date back to 1876, and currently house over 7,000 orchids. The show displays some of the garden&#8217;s best specimens, and turns the Orthwein Floral Display Hall into a lush, tropical oasis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>February 3 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>February <\/strong> 28<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.botanic.cam.ac.uk\/Botanic\/NewsItem.aspx?p=27&amp;ix=154&amp;pid=2722&amp;prcid=4&amp;ppid=2722&amp;edit=y\" target=\"_blank\">Discover exotic orchids at Cambridge University&#8217;s Botanic Garden.<\/a> The Glasshouse Range hosts the February Orchid Festival as the perfect antidote for a British winter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>February 8 &#8211; March 9<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\" http:\/\/www.kew.org\/visit-kew-gardens\/whats-on\/orchids\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Visit Kew Gardens in London to warm up at Orchids 2014.<\/a> Orchids and other tropical flowers fill the Princess of Wales Conservatory. You can also choose from several guided tours and orchid courses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>February 8 &#8211; March 15<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\" http:\/\/www.meskerparkzoo.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\"> Immerse yourself in a tropical rainforest for an Orchid Escape in Indiana.<\/a> Orchids are among the waterfalls at the Mesker Park Zoo &amp; Botanic Garden in Evansville.
