On the slopes of the Andes, the Choc\u00f3 rainforest is a biological hotspot. It&#8217;s home to\u00a05% of all orchid species on earth, including many rare and fascinating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/2010\/10\/24\/sinister-draculas\/\">Draculas<\/a>. Together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rainforesttrust.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Rainforest Trust<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldlandtrust.org\/about\/partners\/ecominga\" target=\"_blank\">Fundaci\u00f3n EcoMinga<\/a>, the OCA is working to conserve this exceptional region. The OCA announced its fundraising success in an email to members and donors.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to everyone who helped the OCA reach its goal. If you haven&#8217;t donated yet, <a href=\"http:\/\/orchidconservationalliance.org\/OCA\/OCA_Dracula_Reserve.html\" target=\"_blank\">the campaign for this new Dracula Reserve can still use your help<\/a>.
