This hybrid is a cross between 2 kinds of closely related orchids, an Ionopsis and an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/identify\/orchids\/oncidium.html\">Oncidium<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/ionocidium_misty_highland_1_640px.jpg\" title=\"Ionocidium flowers\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/ionocidium_misty_highland_1_640px.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Ionocidium flowers\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/ionocidium_misty_highland_2_640px.jpg\" title=\"Ionocidium flower\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/ionocidium_misty_highland_2_640px.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Ionocidium flower\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/ionocidium_misty_highland_6_640px.jpg\" title=\"Ionocidium flowers\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/ionocidium_misty_highland_6_640px.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Ionocidium flowers\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The lip of the flower is light yellow when it starts to open, and then turns white after a couple days.
