The show is open to the public Friday, March 4 &#8211; Sunday, March 6. <a href=\"http:\/\/orchidsanfrancisco-store.stores.yahoo.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets are available online.<\/a> With 150,000 orchids under one roof, you&#8217;re guaranteed to have a jaw-dropping good time. Dave and I will be there with our cameras.<\/p>\n<p>A tropical escape is closer than expected for New Yorkers. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nybg.org\/tos11\/the-orchid-show.php\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;The Orchid Show: On Broadway&#8221;<\/a> promises to dazzle at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nybg.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">the New York Botanical Garden<\/a>. The exhibit runs from March 5 &#8211; April 25. Tony award-winning set designers showcase over 5000 orchids and the Great White Way. The exhibit also provides activities for kids.<\/p>\n<p>From March 5 \u2013 13, the City of Brotherly Love hosts <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theflowershow.com\/home\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">the 2011 Philadelphia International Flower Show<\/a>, the world&#8217;s largest indoor flower show. This year&#8217;s theme is &#8220;Springtime in Paris,&#8221; and includes plenty of orchids. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theflowershow.com\/Tickets\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets are available online.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition to these and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aboutorchids.com\/blog\/2011\/01\/28\/orchid-exhibits\/\">other long-running exhibits<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbgarden.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cleveland Botanical Garden<\/a> offers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbgarden.org\/orchid.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Orchid Mania &#8211; Purple Reign&#8221;<\/a> from February 26 &#8211; March 27. It&#8217;s an orchid tribute to the most royal of colors.
