Pacific Orchid Expo 2013

There’s still one more day to catch the Pacific Orchid Expo here in San Francisco. This spectacular event runs through Sunday, February 24, and features 150,000 orchids at Fort Mason’s Festival Pavilion. Below, you’ll find just a small taste of the marvels at the country’s largest orchid show. They might make you change your Sunday plans.

Now you’re just freaking me out. Guess what I bguoht at Costco on a whim today? A red orchid plant (that is blooming and looks just like the one in your blog.) Oooooo!!! We live such paralel lives sometimes.I adore the bottle you put it in and the lovely painting. I think it’s a beautiful and appropriate display.I did some research on orchids when I came home and found that they love lots of air circulating around their roots. Maybe that’s why it re-bloomed out on the patio?
